Memphis getting ready to go into surgery. Such a big boy!
This was just shortly after coming back from surgery. He did great. They went in and reattached his left and right ureter and removed a diverticulum from his bladder. They put in a super pubic catheter to get his bladder used to all of his urine flowing through it, which was removed four days later. Then they placed a splint inside his bladder that will stay in for a month to make sure everything is flowing in the right direction. We were in the hospital from Monday to Friday. Sad news to us all, Saturday he had to be re-hospitalized for dehydration. We got him eating and his nausea under control and were able to go home Sunday afternoon. He had a rough week, but you couldn't take the smile from his face. He is such a trooper.
